Exhibition Overview:

The petrochemical industry is a crucial sector for Taiwan's economic development, with Kaohsiung being the major hub for the petrochemical industry in Taiwan, hosting 60% of the country's petrochemical facilities. Last year, the manufacturing output value reached TWD 14.4 trillion, with the chemical industry accounting for 30%, equivalent to TWD 4.3 trillion. Taiwanese chemical instrument manufacturers are known for their strong customization capabilities, ability to handle small orders, advanced OEM technology, and high flexibility, demonstrating that the Greater Kaohsiung area has a stable market size and output value for chemical instruments.

In recent years, the Kaohsiung City Government has actively promoted industrial transformation, guiding the petrochemical industry toward high-value production and low emissions. The transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry are urgent. This professional exhibition aims to assist the industry in enhancing various aspects such as maintenance, construction, and management, strengthening safety, corrosion prevention, testing, and leak prevention, and developing new products that save raw materials, consume less energy, cause low pollution, and have high economic value. Since the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center opened, the Kaohsiung City Government has fully supported the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, allowing the integration of the high-value petrochemical industry with exhibitions, maximizing business opportunities by combining the advantages of manufacturing plants and exhibitions in the same region.
